Note: The bulk density of fertilizer will vary from 46 to 65 lbs./cu.ft. depending on the blend and manufacturer. Westeel calculates the capacity by using 62 lbs./cu.ft. If you purchase fertilizer and want to be sure that it can be stored in the bin, please ask the manufacturer of the fertilizer to provide you its bulk fertilizer density. Take this number and multiply by the cu.ft capacity of the bin for an exact tonnage rating. |
